Digitally record the current state of items to be dismantled and their surrounding space by 3D scanning piping, equipment, steel structures, module interfaces, stairs, walkways, and surrounding facilities. The generated point cloud can be used as As-Built data for dismantling and demolition engineering, such as checking dimensions and shapes at required locations, extracting cross-sections, or comparing existing design data with actual site conditions.
Accurate 3D as-is data can be utilized to review the location of the structure to be demolished, its relationship with surrounding facilities, workspace, and access conditions. Through this, it is possible to distinguish between objects to be demolished and those to be preserved, define the scope of work more clearly, and review in advance the spatial information necessary for establishing a demolition work plan, such as equipment evacuation routes and potential interference with surrounding structures.
Using 3D scanning and precision measurement data, the locations, dimensions, and connection relationships of major facilities and structures can be verified. Depending on the project objectives, it provides precise as-is data required for subsequent engineering, such as shape analysis of dismantling targets, review of connection parts and interfaces, and verification of positional relationships between existing facilities and surrounding structures.
By utilizing 3D scan data and on-site images, you can repeatedly review the shape of the target facility and its surrounding space from the office even after visiting the site. By sharing the same digital site information, design, demolition, and construction personnel can more efficiently conduct work scope consultations, check site conditions, and perform engineering reviews.
