CPF · FPSO turbine support pad 3D precision measurement

This is a project that performed 3D precision measurement and analysis of the installation status, including the height and inclination of support pads, for the installation of large turbines in a CPF and FPSO.

During the installation process of large rotating machinery, it is necessary to precisely verify the height, inclination, and relative positional relationships of the supporting structures. In this project, a 3D scanning-based precision measurement method was applied to analyze the overall geometry and installation status, which are difficult to capture through traditional individual coordinate measurements alone.

Turbine support pads require precise height and leveling for the stable installation of equipment. JANGSUNG HDS precisely 3D scanned each pad, analyzed the height, inclination, and relative geometric relationship between the pads, and provided precise measurement results to review the installation status.
Following the execution of the CPF turbine support precision measurement project, we applied the same measurement technology to the FPSO project to perform 3D precision measurement work for the installation of large rotating equipment.
